Lumber Empire Rebirth: Requirements, Resets and Unlocks

Last updated:

Rebirth raises your sales multiplier, expands worker capacity and opens new facilities. Before resetting, plan for the factory and upgrades you will need to rebuild.

Your first Lumber Empire rebirth requires $25,000 and gives a x2 sales multiplier. Meet the next cash requirement in the Rebirth menu to advance. Normal rebirth clears your current cash and plot, so you must rebuild, rehire workers and restore player upgrades. The first five rebirths unlock Workshop, Second Floor, Airport, Third Floor and Crystal Mine in that order. Skip A Rebirth costs 64 Robux and keeps your cash, plot and workers.

Rebirth Requirements and Stage Rewards

Compare your cash with the requirement for your next rebirth. Amounts marked K or M retain the menu's abbreviated display: K means thousand and M means million.

Each multiplier is the resulting rebirth multiplier. Reaching x3 replaces the previous x2 stage multiplier; you do not multiply the stage rewards together. Additional worker slots increase how many workers you can hire.

What Each Rebirth Unlocks

The first five facility unlocks are Workshop → Second Floor → Airport → Third Floor → Crystal Mine, one per rebirth.

Unlocking access does not build the facility for you. After Rebirth 1, the Workshop still costs $50,000. Floor purchases are also separate from the cash requirement for rebirthing, and their machinery and conveyor connections require further construction. Budget for those purchases after restarting production.

How to Rebirth and What Resets

  1. Open Rebirth.
  2. Check the cash requirement for your next rebirth and earn enough to meet it.
  3. Review the reward icons, next facility unlock and You Lose panel.
  4. Press the green Rebirth button when you are ready to reset.
  5. Close the menu and restart production.

A normal rebirth removes all your current cash and the entire built plot, rather than simply deducting the requirement. Facilities must be rebuilt and workers hired again. Player upgrades reset too: Carry Capacity returns to one log. Worker upgrades also return to their starting offers during rebuilding.

Your rebirth progression advances, giving you the new stage multiplier, worker capacity and facility access.

Choose When to Reset and Restart Production

Rebirth once you meet the requirement if your priority is the next multiplier, worker slot or facility unlock. If you want to keep operating your current production line, delay the reset. Expanding a factory immediately before a planned normal rebirth adds construction you will soon have to replace.

To restore income after resetting:

  1. Chop trees and sell wood. Start earning again through manual production.
  2. Rehire workers at WORKERS. An early rebuilding setup starts with a $15 first hire, followed by a $75 next-hire offer.
  3. Restore hauling and chopping capacity. Buy the player and worker upgrades that address your immediate bottleneck.
  4. Rebuild processing and connections. Restore a working route from wood supply through production to sales before committing to larger expansion purchases.
  5. Build toward your new unlock. Use the recovering income to fund the facility and its supporting connections.

For the initial upgrade offers during rebuilding, player Walk Speed costs $20, Carry Capacity $50 and Axe Power $30. Worker Speed starts at $200, Worker Carry at $250 and Worker Axe at $400. These are starting offers, not the total cost of restoring every upgrade.

Use the worker hiring and upgrade guide to plan your workforce, or compare income upgrade priorities when deciding where to reinvest.

Normal Rebirth or Skip A Rebirth

Normal rebirth is the choice if you prefer to progress without spending Robux and are ready to rebuild after meeting the stage's cash requirement.

Skip A Rebirth costs 64 Robux in the Rebirth menu and keeps your cash, plot and workers. Its practical value is preserving an established factory and workforce so you avoid rebuilding those assets.

Choose the paid option if keeping that setup is worth 64 Robux to you. Choose normal rebirth if you would rather spend time restoring production.
