Lumber Empire Crates: Sources, Opening and Admin Odds

Last updated:

Get and open Employee Crates in Lumber Empire, then compare the rewards and prices of the separate Admin Crate.

Employee Crates can come from train deliveries and rebirth rewards. Select a crate in your hotbar and use it to start the employee roll. Admin Crates are sold in the Exclusive Shop, with per-opening odds of 45% Moa, 35% Jandel, 15% Sammy and 5% Hacker. Hacker is also offered directly for 320 Robux.

Employee Crates and Admin Crates

Crate Source Reward
Employee Crate Train delivery and rebirth rewards A random employee from the Employee Crate pool
Admin Crate Exclusive Shop A random employee from a separate four-employee pool

Gifts can also offer a reward labeled CRATE, either alone or with cash.

Get and Open an Employee Crate

Rebirth 1 and Rebirth 2 each award one Employee Crate. Train deliveries can also award a crate at settlement; one delivery of 35 items awarded one crate, but 35 is an example, not a stated minimum. See the rebirth guide for requirements and reset effects or the train guide for loading and delivery.

Once you have a crate:

  1. Select the Employee Crate in your hotbar to hold it.
  2. Use the crate to start the employee roll and receive an employee for your collection.

Employee Crate Rewards

Employee Crate rewards include:

Rarity Employees
Common Hard Hat, Lumberjack
Uncommon Forest Ranger, Sawyer
Rare Night Shift
Legendary Rainbow Logger

Rainbow Logger has a ×3 money multiplier when it is your best owned employee. See the employee index for employee records and how the best owned employee is applied to your workers.

Admin Crate Odds and Pack Prices

The Exclusive Shop lists these odds for each Admin Crate opening:

Employee Chance per opening
Moa 45%
Jandel 35%
Sammy 15%
Hacker 5%
Pack Total price Price per crate
1 crate 80 Robux 80 Robux
5 crates 240 Robux 48 Robux
10 crates 384 Robux 38.4 Robux

Buying Specifically for Hacker

The Exclusive Shop offers Hacker directly for 320 Robux, with a stock counter. Hacker is marked ×5 Money. Direct purchase lets you choose Hacker without a random roll; an Admin Crate has a 5% chance of awarding Hacker per opening.

Choose a crate pack if you want to draw from the four-employee pool: larger packs cost less per crate, but do not guarantee Hacker. If you want Hacker specifically, the direct offer avoids that uncertainty. An employee improves your money bonus when its multiplier is higher than your current best; compare other targets in the employee money rankings.
